Urban Fish Farm, above ground pool, Pond Tilapia Fry rescue [shoot 3]
ok, these are fry i was able to rescue from an above ground pool i was keeping tilapia in, i assumed the adult tilapia was all male, due to the fact that i never witnessed one fry, during the months they lived in that pool, but i was wrong, they spawned at lease this one time, and i spotted the fry in my nets as i pulled them out of the pool i was trashing, so before trashing the pools for good i was able to save these about 200 or more, if they make it winter over i will attempt to create brood stock from these fry, being that i can safely say, i’ll have a good mix of males and female Blue Tilapia
